Copper Magazine

Social Media Marketing Intern: Throughout my hands-on internship experience, I effectively formulated engaging post content, persuasive copy, and comprehensive marketing strategies with the primary goal of significantly enhancing Copper Magazine's brand visibility in a competitive landscape. The focus was primarily on attracting new followers while actively engaging BIPOC artists to join and contribute to the vibrant Copper Fine Arts Magazine community across various popular social media platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

ChaShaMa

Photography Intern: In my role as a photography assistant, I collaborated closely with the Director of Photography, acquiring valuable proficiency in the use of the comprehensive Adobe Creative Cloud systems. My assignments involved meticulously documenting artwork for ChaShaMa and the Space to Connect department across various locations in Manhattan. This encompassed capturing detailed images of rental spaces prior to their use and carefully documenting artwork showcased in numerous Manhattan high-rises, prominently featuring selected artists' works. Under the expert guidance of the Director of Photography, I applied my Adobe Creative Cloud skills to edit photographs, ensuring they met strict departmental requirements and consistently maintained the high organizational standards expected in the industry.

Brooklyn Arts Council

Photography intern: Throughout the summer months, I had the opportunity to serve as a photography intern at the Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC), specifically within the Folk Arts department at their vibrant DUMBO location. My responsibilities included capturing various moments from BAC’s artist residency programs, as well as documenting their culminating events, which were often filled with creativity and energy. I meticulously edited photographs to ensure they met the detailed specifications required for submission to the New York City Department of Education, aiming for a polished and professional presentation.
